Clipboard master reviews11/10/2023 Sorry, but I am just lazy! For the seriously privacy-conscious, however, the K2A keyboard would make a great daily driver. However, we are comfortable sacrificing a little privacy for convenience, and therefore only use the K2A keyboard for entering passwords. The K2A keyboard, on the other hand, is completely self-contained and sends no information to anyone. These features can be a serious privacy risk. It features no text prediction, for example, no personalized auto-correct, or fancy swipe-input.īut this is not necessarily a bad thing. We find the K2A keyboard a little basic for day-to-day use as an Android keyboard. It can be installed alongside other keyboards, can be easily swapped in and out with other keyboards. There is no need for any form of custom integration or browser add-on. The keyboard is also good for Android integration, as it works with all apps. This can directly access the KeePass database and enter usernames and passwords into forms without the need to store data on Android’s clipboard. K2A solves this problem by providing its own keyboard. We found that, for example, auto-fill functions for applications could be abused to steal the stored secrets from the password manager application using 'hidden phishing' attacks.” “Many apps completely ignore the problem of clipboard sniffing, meaning that there is no cleanup of the clipboard after credentials have been copied into it. This allows you to copy and paste usernames and passwords from an opened KeePass database to the app or webpage where they are needed. Most Android password managers (including most KeePass ports) work using Android’s built-in clipboard function. This is not as secure as K2A keyboard solution but does minimize the problem. For anyone who is wary of Google, I recommend using either KeePass DX or KeePass Droid instead.īoth of these apps are available from F-Droid and mitigate the clipboard problem with a clipboard timeout. We are comfortable with the trade-off between this risk and the advantages listed above. This means that, in theory, Google could slip malicious code into an update at any time. The main downside of K2A is that it is only available via the Google Play Store, and is therefore updated via Google Play Services. Both of these advantages are related to K2A's custom keyboard feature (see below). It does not rely on Android’s insecure clipboard function to work.Or, indeed, than most commercials products we have reviewed. It has much better Android integration than other Keepass ports. Most of these are open source and can open and manipulate regular KeePass files. If you are constantly working with a wide variety of text fragments and want to avoid copying elements multiple times when citing journal articles or books, then MasterPaster’s ease-of-use, keyboard-based interaction and fast execution speed may be the right tool to save you time and energy in your academic endeavors. There are a number of KeePass ports for Android. Those who view the lack of a graphical user interface as a disadvantage can circumvent the issue by using the app as an extension to a more advanced clipboard utility that does not possess keyboard shortcut support, in order to avoid possible confusion that may arise when trying to remember the details or the order of the last ten copied items. Once installed, the app can be interacted with via its dedicated system tray icon, from where users can easily enable it to run at Windows’ startup, or temporarily disable it to avoid unwanted clashes with other programs.Īs such, while running in the background, MasterPaster continually records the items you copy and lets you paste the ten most recent elements using combinations of the Control key and the top number row, thus giving those with keyboard-focused workflows a fast-paced way of retrieving text excerpts without shifting their attention from the currently active tasks to move the cursor in the right direction. By employing a keystroke-based interaction, users can instantly paste the most recent items copied to the clipboard without taking their focus away from their main activity. Thanks to the dedication of the open-source community, the task of retrieving clipboard elements in a fast-paced manner has become a reality through a neat program known as MasterPaster. In a rapidly-evolving world that relies on cutting-edge technology for carrying out the vast majority of jobs, time has become the most important resource that many want to save on during their daily routines.

Thoughts of a colored man reviews11/10/2023 Scott, who is a Queens native making his Broadway debut, has crafted an introspective journey into the hearts of seven Black men struggling with love, happiness, wisdom, lust, passion, depression and anger. There’s a lot to soak in over the course of the show - and sometimes the storytelling can feel wobbly with characters constantly entering and exiting the spotlight - but the heart of the piece is apparent and the message heard loud and clear. There are monologues about so many different aspects of life faced by these Black men, issues like fatherhood, racism, opportunity, gentrification, love and family. The play received its world premiere in 2019 at Syracuse Stage, and with each passing day over the last two years, many of these lyrical passages have become even more prescient to hear and important to experience on stage. The show seems borne of both the moment and a historical perspective, detailing current struggles, past events and a look toward the future. Scott is clearly after larger themes with this unique piece of theater. Robert Brill’s scenic design, featuring a bare stage and an elevated screen with projected images, helps keep the focus on the men and their stories. When a solitary character heads to the edge of the stage, looks the audience in the eye and lets them know how he is feeling, there’s an intimacy that is earned and an emotional response that is obvious. They collectively bring to life these “thoughts” in a variety of forms, most movingly being the intimate monologue. They give everything they have to the theatrical framework created by Scott, and they are aided by the directorial choices of Steve H. The cast members - from Dyllón Burnside as Love, Bryan Terrell Clark as Happiness, Luke James as Passion and Tristan Mack Wilds as Anger - are wonderful and in command of their respective roles. Later on, he seeks forgiveness, and Wisdom doesn’t let the moment pass without imparting some of his hard-earned knowledge. In one pivotal scene, he comes at odds with Wisdom and is thrown out of the barber shop (rightfully so given his actions). His character has a lot to learn over the course of this narrative, and his journey is a tough one. Playing the role of Lust, Da’Vinchi is a similarly excellent performer as well. As his character name suggests, he shares stories and lessons to be learned with the younger patrons of his shop, often with his anecdotes receiving praise and context from Depression. There’s also a brilliance behind the performance of Esau Pritchett as Wisdom, the owner of the local barber shop and a soon-to-be grandfather. He is a skilled actor who bears his conscience, his strength and his insights to the audience. He plays Depression and is given some of the best lines in the play, and his story arc becomes one of the more dominant ones throughout the evening. They are separate voices, each on their own individual trajectory, but they are bonded together through friendship, family and conversations.įorrest McClendon is a standout amongst the cast members. Another man works at a local Whole Foods store and criticizes the obvious gentrification of the neighborhood. Another man runs a barber shop where patrons need to contribute to a swear jar if they use profanity. One man is about to welcome a baby with his wife. Within their stories, the characters offer glimpses of who they are and what they might be celebrating or struggling with in life. Over the next 100 minutes, they share their thoughts and emotions, sometimes through dialogue, sometimes through music and poetry. The actors walk to the center of the stage at the play’s beginning, addressing the audience and welcoming them to the theatrical experience. The narrative structure of the piece is interesting and unique. Depicting the life, love, loss and feelings of seven Black men, the show is a powerful examination of many different themes, which also appear as the characters’ names: Love, Happiness, Wisdom, Lust, Passion, Depression and Anger. 8 digit code warzone stadium11/9/2023 Viktor (labelled Russian Soldier 3 in the subtitles) is a minor character in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Children were not killed but were captured instead. He ordered his troops to kill anyone that is not part of the Russian invasion forces and deployed poison gas on civilians, causing very high civilian casualties. In 1999 Barkov launched the invasion at Riyzabbi in the morning. It was then that he saw the potential in trafficking weapons to former Soviet nations that had descended into ongoing chaos in the wake of the power vacuums brought about by their budding independence. Victor joined the most secret division of the Federal Security Service, fighting terrorism and organized crime in Chechnya and beyond.Īfter the death of Imran Zakhaev in 2011, Victor's growing disenchantment with Modern Russia led him to sneaking out of the country along with his wife Yuila. Victor assumed some of his father's duties after he received a heart surgery in 1994. Captain John Price and his Task Force 141 (Gaz, Soap, Ghost) also supported the newly formed alliance.īorn in the 1970s, Victor Zakhaev was the middle son of Imran Zakhaev, a high-ranking official in the Interior Ministry of the Soviet Union. The invasion of Verdansk prompted CIA Case Officer Kate Laswell of the Coalition and FSB Sergeant Kamarov of the Allegiancd to create a local temporary military alliance between the two factions in Verdansk, Armistice. Z", a known arms dealer and Ultranationalist. Al-Qatala was now under the leadership of Khaled Al-Asad and was supplied and supported by Victor Zakhaev, also known as "Mr. "On March 3, 2020, four months after the death of Omar Sulaman, Al-Qatala, now calling themselves Al-Qatala-Aljahdid, invaded the country of Kastovia and occupied its major city, Verdansk. Now for some story time to fill in the blanks. Fortunately the locked door prompts us with an 8-digit passcode, the same amount of characters as the passcode from stadium. In order to reach him however we must go lower which requires more clearance. We are able to go inside after intercepting the message and cracking the code, and see that the person is building a nuke. In season 4 we learn that someone is currently inside Bunker 11 and broadcasting a distress message that we intercept. On top of that, we now are able to decipher a high clearance 8-digit passcode that unlocks the board room in Stadium, the epicenter of Victor's planning with Al-Asad & Hadir. I've completed the Bunker 11 ee and Stadium ee, and with the release of season 5 I'm sure everyone has noticed how they nerfed the spawn rates of the red access cards in our favor.

Remote medical scribe jobs part time11/9/2023 Unfortunately, many care providers are now beginning to opt out of these services as well due to the lack of standardized training and high costs. Since the COVID-19 pandemic upended in-person life, these remote scribe companies have been a lifesaver to many providers across the world. These companies handle recruiting, staffing, training, and management, and can be a great alternative for providers who don't have the bandwidth to handle this themselves. In recent years, large medical scribe companies have emerged as an alternative to traditional in-person scribes. The shift to remote and virtual scribes While understandable, functional creep can put providers at an increased risk for malpractice.Īs the years have gone on, traditional scribe roles have begun to decrease as the costs, risks, and needed oversight often outweigh the benefits. It can be time consuming for individual providers to train and schedule scribes, and it can sometimes be more work than it's worth.īecause providers are so burdened by their documentation, it can be easy for them to start passing off tasks to trusted scribes that are outside the scope of their role or training - a phenomenon that's known as functional creep. Unfortunately, providers today are spread so thin that it can be difficult for new scribes to get the training they deserve and need to do their jobs. Downsides to Traditional Medical Scribes But as the administrative tasks continued to grow, problems with traditional scribes began exposing themselves. In the early 2010's, traditional medical scribes were an obvious solution to the increased documentation load. This documentation includes everything from logging the patients chief complaints, to their history of present illness and medical history, to updating their patient record and logging the documentation in the patient's health record. Traditionally, medical scribes work in-person alongside clinicians and other healthcare professionals to document patient encounters and reduce the administrative load so that the provider can focus on the patient. Providers also choose to hire scribes because, ideally, if they can leave the documentation in the hands of the scribe, then they can focus on the patient and focus on delivering engaged, quality care. Healthcare providers hire scribes because they need to offload some of their administrative burden so that they can save-time. So, before we dive into how to get a job as a medical scribe, it's first important to understand what healthcare providers are really looking for when they hire a scribe. What has ensued in the years since 2009 is widespread administrative-induced physician burnout, one that is pushing levels of physician depression and suicide through the roof. While the goal of this measure was to increase care quality and efficiency and maximize revenue, it created a new disease in the healthcare system: medical documentation. Starting in 2009, the US Government passed what's known as the HITECH Act, which financially incentivized care organizations to adopt electronic health record systems and forced providers to thoroughly document their patient encounters. The biggest reason care organizations and individual providers in the United States hire medical scribes is because there is a massive amount of administrative work associated with delivering care. Scribing can provide you with valuable industry exposure and give you an up-close look at how medical decisions are made. If you're looking for a job that will help you gain clinical experience and look great on your medical school applications, then becoming a medical scribe could be the perfect option for you.

Webber park pool mpls11/9/2023 The pools at the otherwise excellent water parks, Jim Lupient and North Commons, only reach chest high on an average adult. The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board maintains a glorious number of wading pools in neighborhood parks, but the only appropriate way for a grown-up to cool off in a kiddie pool is to supervise children from the side while dangling their legs in the water, or wading in to rescue a missing toy or a misbehaving toddler. I'll take flawed and interesting public spaces over the manicured, privatized sublime anytime.ĭespite its variety of imperfectly perfect beaches, Minneapolis is short on (or shallow on?) deep water. Minneapolis beaches belong to everyone: They’re accessible, close to home, and free. The public restrooms’ gritty, unswept floors and trickling, push-button faucets signify the shared commons. Lake Nokomis Main Beach-goers have to spread towels over exceedingly grimy sand in order to enjoy refreshments from the brand new concession vendor The Painted Turtle. “Muskellunge In These Waters” signs temper Bde Maka Ska skyline views, while Cedar Lake East Beach’s old growth shade is marred by frequent MPD foot patrols. 55 in order to enjoy sightings of urban wildlife like muskrats and herons. Wirth Lake Beach swimmers tolerate noise pollution from Hwy. coli contamination, but when it’s clean the water is bathtub warm. On the charming flipside: BABY TURTLES! Lake Hiawatha Beach, located on a smallish city lake, is frequently closed because of E. Each city beach has its drawbacks alongside its charms, like Lake Harriet North Beach, where a portion of the beach is closed to protect nesting turtle habitat. In the early part of the summer, I make the 12 beaches in Minneapolis my priority, while the water is cold and not yet scummy (barring any unseasonably early algae bloom). Although preparing for an urban beach day involves simply shoving a tote bag full of snacks and frayed towels into my minivan or bicycle saddle bag, I start planning my summer swimming strategy long before ice out, around the time gardeners begin to dogear pages in seed catalogs, when the Wim Hoff devotees dominate the water they’ve chipped open on Lake Harriet and Cedar Lake. Plus, a lazy afternoon at the beach or pool with my kids provides an incalculable return on investment of all the dollars and hours I spent on swim lessons over the last decade to make them proficient treaders of water. Gliding underwater offers a muffled, momentary reprieve from my landlubbing to-do list, exercise that doesn’t feel like a workout, and relief from the heat. Outdoor swimming is my favorite summer activity. My ichthyic relationship to water is all about feeling like a fish, not catching one to eat for dinner. Plus, I dislike long drives and Styrofoam containers full of fish bait refrigerated next to people-food. A strong source of electro magnetic fields, or interference is near your computer (or sometimes neer it). Conversely, your power supply could be of acceptable quality (a really good unit like a pc power and cooling turbo cool 510 would take it upon itself to fix the problem, but plenty of workable units woudn't) and the problem may be that the power in the building that you are feading to your computer is of exceptionally bad quality in this case, you can buy a unit to clean the power before you feed it to your pc. failing/unreliable powersuply, voltage ripple, or "dirty power" is not always emediately obvious in monitoring programs, and even if it is technically withing the acceptable voltage range, dirty enough power will cause premature component death, and stability issues in general. It is also possible, but unlikely that there is some form of design defect with your motheboard, or perhaps and add on card that could be responsible for the problem. similar problems could be caused by, a short, a corrupt bios (perhaps indicating a failing battery), extremely excessive heat, or voltage damaged chips. Failing motherboard components, if youve blown a few capacitors, some of your controller chips could be unreliable, this is technically possible without blown caps, but unlikely. Off the top of my head, here are factors that could be causing problems. I have never had a hard drive just give up and stop working entirely, the worst I've ever had was a poorly ventilated seagate drive in a dell dimension desktop become unreliable after ~2 years (surprisingly, it never got all that bad, its actually still semi usable, and I still use it from time to time in "scrap systems" to test out the hardware, without investing any extra money, though it inevitably becomes unstable after a few months on the same os install) That sort of drive turnover heavily indicates something pathologically wrong with the system. Thank you to all for your effort, I appreciate it. I've changed the sellers, I've changed two manufacturers (WD & Seagate), and to be honest, out of more than 20 drives I had in 5 years, more than a half failed (usually just getting bad sectors, some had trouble spinning). They just failed, all of a sudden, but this Seagate is the only one that failed completely (0GB and max LBA 0 in SeaTools says all). The PSU is appropriate, Fortron, measured with the wattmeter, sufficient and working without any problems. All electric parameters are okay, no drive shown any signs of electrical damage or of a shock, each and every one was cooled. In last twelve months, I lost this 500GB Seagate, 250GB Seagate (system drive bought December 2007, lost January 2008), WD 320GB (lasted one week), WD 320GB (lasted one month) - is it all? - (I don't want to check the invoices now) - it's weird, it's frustrating and no one knows why. HDTune won't show any SMART data and BIOS will warn about the Drive Failure. It failed out of a sudden, no SMART warning, no SMART attribute bad, but now it won't even read any SMART attribute. Short test fails immediately, long test shows 99 errors and terminates in a few seconds. It will show in BIOS its type, but it will not run any SeaTools for DOS (or Windows) test, not even when run outside of the OS. Yes, I have several SATA ports available where any other drive I have is fully functional and passes SMART test, short test, long test.īut not this one. Setarip_old: Yes, I have a replacement cable. |
